no 1- ‘thursday evenings’ by claire dejardins: i have fallen in love with this artist who is a featured seller at anthropologie. this kind of color abstract is a perfect piece to add to your decor.
no 2- paris coasters: i have been on a coaster-making binge this past week, and i have just put my new stuff up on etsy for sale! please check out my store and purchase a few- they make wonderful gifts!
no 3- almond meringue: to top off a wonderful date night with hubsters, we stopped by and picked up one of these from le pain quotidien {try saying the name without feeling really pompous– bet you can’t!} for dessert. yum yum yum.
no 4- downton abbey: ok, i realize i’m a little late jumping on this british-bandwagon, but i spent an inordinate amount of time catching up on the first season this past week so i had to put it on my list. for those of you who haven’t seen/heard of it yet– scholars maintain that watching one episode is the equivalent of reading a novel.
no 5- the hamilton dc: not only did i spend saturday morning having brunch at this new, swanky dc restaurant, but i spent dinner that same night. the food is great. surprisingly enough, the sushi was amazing. i will definitely be back soon.
